Appraisals: $135

We offer appraisal services for insurance and estate purposes. Our appraisals include photographic depiction and a complete description of your piece. GIA certificates are available as well as pearl X-ray and more for additional fees.

You do not need an appointment to get an appraisal, but you do need to leave the piece(s) of jewelry with us for our goldsmiths to appraise. All repairs and appraisals can take 5 – 10 business days. We do not send any pieces out (unless specifically directed by you), so your piece(s) will never leave our building until you come to pick them up.
We’re always happy to inspect* and clean jewelry for free! No appointments necessary unless you have a large number of pieces to look at. We can tell you what’s real vs. costume jewelry, test white stones, and alert you to any issues in the jewelry we can see (example: prongs wearing thin/loose).
Gold testing available: $25 per piece – we will test the karat of gold and stamp your jewelry with the appropriate stamp
*Does not include stone valuations. Stone valuations only available with full appraisal.

Jewelry cleaning & polishing: up to $35

No matter how careful you are with your jewelry, it will eventually get scratched or dirty. When this happens, bring it in for a cleaning and get that eye catching shine back! Trust our expert jewelry repair services.

We’re always happy to inspect and lightly clean your piece free of charge in our store – we’ll clean while you shop! We will check prongs and look for any issues in the piece that needs attention. Our only goal is to make sure you’re well informed on the current state of your jewelry and returning a bright, shiny clean piece back to you!

If you have cleaned your jewelry but notice that there are still blemishes, you may want to consider getting it professionally polished. This service starts at $35 for relatively simple pieces. This includes buffing out shallow scratches and checking prongs for wear and tear. The price increases with the complexity of the piece.

If your ring or bracelet is made of white gold and you notice that it is losing its white color, you may want to consider getting it rhodium plated. Because this involves additional work and valuable materials, it typically costs $90 and up for a ring. A new rhodium plating will give your piece a lustrous white gold finish!

Ring Resizing: $65 - $270+

We can resize solid sterling silver, platinum, and gold rings. However, we do not work on gold plated or gold-filled jewelry.

Having a ring that doesn’t fit properly can run the risk of falling off if too large, or cutting off circulation if too small. If your ring doesn’t fit perfectly, or you notice it spinning on your finger, you may want to consider getting it re-sized.

The price of re-sizing a ring depends on a few factors: the type of metal, whether you are sizing up or down and by how many sizes, what stones are set in the ring, and how wide or intricate the ring is. Bring your ring in for the most accurate price estimate.

Want to redesign your ring entirely? We offer custom jewelry services where you work with our goldsmiths to design the ring of your dreams and we’ll make it for you! We’ll even use your old, broken, inherited gold and platinum jewelry to make it, or trade in towards the cost of your final custom creations! Find out more here.

Would you rather get your hands dirty and Make Your Own Wedding Ring? We offer that as well! Take this private class one on one or as a couple and our goldsmiths will walk you through every step of the way from raw materials to finished rings! Find out more here.
