Pick your favorite colors and make the set match, or make separate pieces! Every student will leave with a completed pair of earrings AND bracelet ready to wear or gift to someone special in your life. Take the class solo, or sign up with friends/family for a fun night out! No torches or hammers involved in this class, which makes it perfect for beginners and more experienced makers looking to learn a new skill!
In this class we will be using Anodized Aluminum jump rings to create a Mobius Strip style lightweight chainmaille earrings and bracelet set. All materials are included in the price of the class.
What is Chainmaille?
Chainmail is a craft that involves interlocking small metal rings to create a flexible, mesh-like fabric. While it’s conventionally known for its historical use as armor, chainmaille is the term for the modern weaves used to make jewelry, decorations, and other adornment. With easily accessible tools and a welcoming community, this art form has seen a strong resurgence in popularity in the last 30 years.

What if I don’t know what to make?
You can check Pinterest or Instagram for some inspiration prior to class. We will also have some designs to get you started. This class has a specific design, so no need to study up ahead of time!
Do I need to have experience?
We offer many beginner classes however some classes do require experience. Please check the class description to find out.
What supplies will I need to bring?
For most classes the supplies and tools are furnished. Please check the class description to find out. If you have a favorite set of tools, you are welcome to bring them. For longer classes you might want to bring a lunch. Other than that, just yourself, your curiosity, and ideas and maybe some friends!
Is there an age limit?
We offer a variety of classes for all ages. However, some classes have an age limit due to the tools that are used (sharp knives, exactos, etc.).
What if less than the minimum number of people sign up?
We need at least the stated minimum number of people in class to move forward. If less than the minimum sign up, or if someone drops out so there are less than the minimum, we will need to cancel it. In this case, we will offer you a coupon credit code to be used on any future purchases (including classes), and/or ask about dates to reschedule.
What if the class is sold out?
We have a waiting list. Just drop us an email and if anyone drops out of the class, we will notify you. We run workshops monthly so you’ll likely get another chance!
What if I don’t finish my piece?
Our plan is to send you home with a finished piece but there is no pressure to finish! At the very least you will leave with new knowledge and the ability to finish your project at home. If you find you need tools that you don’t have or that you would like to continue creating, we rent out benches in our workshop at an hourly/daily/weekly rate. What if I can’t make it to a class I signed up for?
We offer full refunds for classes canceled at least 10 days prior to the start date. If you cancel later than the 10 days, we can offer you a credit to be used at the Jewelers Guild for classes or merchandise.
